From Robin Hood’s Nottingham, England hails another hero: Gemma Parr. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production from Staffordshire University, Gemma got her start in the film industry as an intern for Agile Films. She was soon hired by Molinare in London where she developed her passion for color grading as a Baselight Assistant and DI Technician. At Molinare, she worked as a DI Technician on such films as Moon, Everybody’s Fine, The Damned United, and Tom Hooper’s Academy Award winning feature The King’s Speech. Outside of work, Gemma explores her new home by sightseeing and doing touristy activities around Los Angeles with her husband.
