Cory Berendzen
Colorist
Cory began working in post at 525 Studios in Santa Monica as Client Services. From there he went on to work at the Syndicate and HT Illuminate where he worked in the vault. After gaining much knowledge about the art of being a colorist, Cory decided to join New Hat. He works as an Assistant Colorist and also has completed independent projects of his own. He assists all the colorists and has overseen the scanning of several feature films. Cory is originally from Austin, Texas and moved to California in 2000. In his spare time, he trains at Atemi-Ryu Jujitsu, and frequently trips to orphanages in Tijuana through Corazon De Vida. He also enjoys surfing and seeing people smiling.
