Santiago Padilla began working in post production at age 19 with an internship at R!OT. At the conclusion of Santiago’s internship, he was hired in R!OT’s vault and from there he achieved a personal goal of getting promoted once a year, moving from the Vault to Tape Op to Dailies Assistant, then to Bob Festa’s Commercial Assistant. With years of mentorship from Bob and fellow colorists Siggy Ferstl and Clark Muller, Santi was promoted to Dailies Colorist.

Following R!OT, Santiago moved to Company 3 where added feature work to his music video and commercial resume. Santi worked on both coasts with Academy Award winning Directors and DP’s on films such as The Ugly Truth and big budget features such as Transformers 3 and X-Men: First Class.

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico to a family of twelve children, Santiago believes family is the most important thing in life. Also an avid photographer, Santiago is best known for his laid back personality - even when he is losing at ping-pong.
